Wish College is a private, residential liberal arts school in downtown Holland, The state of michigan, United states of america, a few kilometers from Lake Michigan. This opened in 1851 as the Pioneer School by Dutch immigrants four years following the community was first settled. The first junior school class matriculated in 1862 and Hope received its Converted Church in America and it retains an attractive campus is adjacent to the town center commercial district and has been shared with American Theological Seminary since 1884. The school's enrollment is merely over 3, 600 undergraduates.
History
Hope's slogan is taken from Psalm 42: 5: "Spera in Deo" ("Hope in God"). The college's emblem is a pair of handcuffs. This is drawn from a speech made by Albertus van Raalte, the leader of the community, on the occasion my point of hope for this people in the foreseeable future, School was later broadened to secondary, and soon after, college or university level education as Hope College. Lorrie Vleck Hall, which at first housed the Pioneer College, is dormitory. It is the second oldest building in the city. The first freshman college or university class matriculated in 1862, and Wish received its state rent in 1866. The college or university admitted its first male students in 1878.
2015 marks Hope College's one hundred and fiftieth year of education. In honor of this party, Hope College held many events throughout 2015. The celebration started out with the 150th commencement on, may 3, 2015. The season held two grand availabilities, the Kruizenga Art Memorial and the Jack L. Miller Center for Musical technology Arts, and the revolutionary ceremony of the John and Martie Bultman College student Center. The College also sponsored the Presidential Colloquium lecture series which included an address by David Brooks on Christian education in the 21st 100 years.

The school offers 90+ majors, all of which lead to a Bachelor of Martial arts, Bachelor of Music, Bachelors of Science, Bachelor of Science in Engineering, or Bachelor of Science in Degree in nursing. That has a student human population of approximately 3, 400 with a student-to-faculty ratio of 12: 1. The school offers off-campus study programs in a number of US cities, including Philadelphia, Washington, D. C., and Chicago, and offshore programs for the summer season, semester, or an whole academic year. Among it is international programs, a long-lasting summer.
